We are thrilled to announce that two members of the AWIN team have been shortlisted as finalists at the Women in Utilities Awards 2026. The winners will be announced at the ceremony on Friday 3 July 2026, and we could not be more proud.
The Women in Utilities Awards celebrate outstanding contributions of women across the utilities sector. Specifically, they recognise those who demonstrate exceptional dedication, expertise and impact in their field. As a result, being named as finalists is a fantastic achievement for both individuals and for AWIN as a business.
Beth Venis, Business Champion
Beth has been shortlisted in the Business Champion category. This award recognises an exceptional woman whose work demonstrates dedication, excellence and impact in the utilities sector. Furthermore, it celebrates outstanding contributions across back office functions including finance, customer service, HR and compliance.
Beth goes above and beyond her role every day. She makes a significant contribution to AWIN and serves as a positive role model across the business. This shortlisting reflects the impact she has on our team and the wider utilities industry.
Ella Boucher, Rising Star
Ella has been shortlisted in the Rising Star category. This award celebrates women who are early in their utilities career and already making a meaningful contribution to their organisation and the industry. In addition, it recognises those who demonstrate clear expertise and show early signals of future leadership.
Ella brings exceptional ambition and dedication to her role at AWIN. She consistently goes above and beyond, and this nomination reflects the expertise and impact she delivers every day.
