Earlier this month, members of the AWIN team, joined by colleagues from across our wider group, took to the historic streets of Cambridge for the 2026 Cambridge Half Marathon. The event is a cornerstone of the local sporting calendar, drawing thousands of participants to tackle the 13.1 mile course that winds through the city’s iconic college grounds and along scenic riverside paths.
One of the standout moments for our team was the rare opportunity to run through the grounds of King’s College. This included a unique stretch over the historic cobbles, where runners found themselves on centuries-old pathways that are typically closed to the general public.
The day was a fantastic display of team spirit and mutual support across our businesses, with everyone crossing the finish line with smiles all round. Participation in events like the Cambridge Half Marathon remains an important part of our commitment to team wellbeing and local community engagement. A huge well done to everyone who took part and represented AWIN so brilliantly!
